Recycle Bin Folder

When files in SmartProject are deleted accidentally, Recycle Bin Folder option helps to recover deleted file quickly. 

To create recycle bin folder

  1. In the Smart Folder Types window under Documents, select File Recycle Bin and click OK. File Recycle Bin Folder is created.

 


Following operations are possible on a file selected from the File Recycle Bin is available.

Download: Select a file and click Download to download a copy of the deleted file. The selected file will be downloaded. Multiple files are downloaded as Zip file. 

View: Select a file and click View. File is opened in internal viewer.  Only those file types for which there is an internal viewer in SmartProject is displayed.

If the setting Permanently remove physical files while deleting documents is selected in the control panel, files will not be sent to recycle bin but deleted permanently. If this option is not selected, files when deleted will be available in recycle bin for retrieval.
