Once the package is reviewed and approved by the approvers, the document controller releases the package through a transmittal and then completes the package.
Document controller can define the transmittal details from the Transmittal Details tab in the Package Manager window. Once this information is defined, when the document controller creates a transmittal, the transmittal window is populated with the details defined here.
The approved packages will be available in the documents tab of the Document Controller.
Creating transmittals and releasing packages
When you create a transmittal from a package, the transmittal information saved in the package will be used to create the transmittal. However, user may override any of these details once the transmittal is created.
NOTE: If any of the documents are having workflows with transmittal stage and the documents are not in the transmittal stage, attempt to create the transmittal will fail. An alert message indicating this is displayed.
Completing the package
Once the transmittal is released the package is completed automatically. However if the package has to be completed in demand you can carry out the following steps.
