Audience, Scope, Conventions, and Formats

This manual assumes that the reader possesses  basic to intermediate computer and Internet skills.

This manual uses the following typographical conventions:

Bold

User Input.

Fixed font

Screen text, file and server names, extensions, running text.

This manual uses the following format to highlight special messages:

NOTE:

This format is used to highlight information of importance or special interest.

This manual uses the expandable paragraph format for making the content more presentable.

In this format the content will appear hidden and will be displayed when you click the + sign.

In addition the following terminologies are used in the manual:

Global Menu

Global refers to the menu items displayed on the main window tool bar.

Menu bar

Menu bar refers to the tool bar displayed On the intermediary windows.

Drop-down menu (list)

Drop-down list is the list of items displayed when the down-arrow next to a field is clicked.

  Date picker

 Date picker is the calendar displayed when the down-arrow next to a  date field is clicked.

   Browse button ()

This is the button displayed next to a field. Clicking on this button navigate the control to another user interface from where user can select a value.

More Button ()

This button with three parallel bars is displayed on some of the screens. Additional options are available on clicking this button.
