Usually a project is referred to other similar projects. The drawings and designs used in the referred projects can be made use of if similarity exists between the projects. Also the experience gained in executing the referred project can be made use of in similar projects. Using a project as a reference helps in reviewing the progress of similar projects. 

Listed in the Reference tab are two sets of reference details where the first one is a list of Other Projects referenced by the current Project. The second is a list of other Projects to which the current Project is referred.

To refer a project

1. In the tabs pane click  Reference.

Reference window is displayed. The reference window have two panes; Referred Projects and Referred In.

2. In Referred Project pane click Add. 

Project Search window is displayed. 

3. Select the project to be referred. Selected project is added as reference.
4. Click Save to store changes.
