Here BOQ can be linked to the task. The quantity in BOQ can be distributed to quantity task only. Hence ensure the required quantity task is selected in the WBS for linking a BOQ.
To link a BOQ
1.Select the tab BOQ.
2.On the window click Add.

Search BOQ window is displayed.

3.Select the required BOQ from the window and click OK.
The selected BOQ is linked to the task and is displayed in the grid.

If the task is already assigned with a budgeted / forecasted quantity, a warning message Task contains budgeted/forecasted quantity. Do you want to assign it to the selected BOQ? is displayed. If user selects NO the operation is cancelled. If the user selects YES, budgeted or forecasted quantity is assigned to the selected BOQ.
Updating quantity allocated to task
In BOQ linked tasks the user can revise the value for ‘Quantity Allocated to Task’.
To update quantity allocated to task
1.Double click the cell.
The cell will be editable.
