Other Units

Other Units" refers to different branch offices, between which documents are transacted during the execution of projects. A list of such branch offices can be maintained here.

To register a new unit

  1. In the Resources window click Other Unit.

  1. Enter values for the required Other Unit. Those which are marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory items and are to be specified before the new customer details can be saved. To participate in WrenchXchange, the System ID of the participating SmartProject are to be registered with each other. The System ID can be associated with the corresponding origin.
  2. Click OK to register the new other unit. 

Email settings and authentications can be configured for Other Units. The procedure for this is similar to that in Vendors and Customers.
