Different activities and deliverables which are associated with the projects are quantified in the BOQ Document. But the Unit of Measurement (UOM) for these activities or deliverables may be different. Entire UOM's which are used in the organization are added in Unit of Measurement masters.This will help in standardizing the BOQ Document.

To add items to unit of measurement

1. In the Master window click Others>>Unit of Measurement.
2. In the tool bar click Create.

UOM Details window is displayed.

3. Enter a UOM CODE and UOM DESCRIPTION.
4. Click Save to store the  entered values.

A new UOM is created.

Editing and Removing UOM details

User with security rights can edit or remove an existing entry in the UOM master.

To edit an entry

1. In the UOM Master window select the UOM that is to be located.
2. In the tool bar click Edit.

UOM Details window is displayed.

3. Make necessary changes and click Save. Saved Successfully message is displayed.

To remove an entry

1. In the UOM Master window select the location that is to be located.
2. In the tool bar click Remove.

Removed Successfully message is displayed. The selected item is removed from the master.
