Enquiry module handle the enquiries prior to the award of a project. This may include enquiries related to technical feasibilities, deliverables of the project etc. Projects corresponding to the enquiry can also be viewed.
Pre-requisites
You can assign a user appropriate security rights to Create/Edit/View/Delete enquiries by selecting Project/Enquiry module and assigning User or User group based Security Rights for the same.
Opening the enquiry module
1.On the Global menu click Module>>Project/Enquiry.
Project/Enquiry window is displayed.
2.On the Project/Enquiry window click Add>>Enquiry.

Enquiry Details window is displayed.
3.On the enquiry details window enter values for fields mentioned in the following table.

Enquiry ID
|
Specify a unique identification number for the enquiry. You can also generate an ID using the auto generate number option.

Enter a description for the enquiry.

Enquiry Short Description

Enter a short description for the enquiry. This is mainly used for internal purposes.

Client
|
Select the client for this enquiry. Click the browse button to select the client from a list.

Enquiry Manager
|
Select the manager for this enquiry.

Designation
|
Specify the designation of the enquiry manager in the organization.

Enquiry Start Date
|
Enter the enquiry start date.
|

Enquiry End Date
|
Enter the expected enquiry finish date.

Enquiry Genealogy
|
Genealogy defined in the Project/Enquiry genealogy default properties is displayed here. Click the browse button to select a new genealogy from a list.

Client
|
Select the client for this enquiry. Click the browse button to select the client from a list.

Enquiry Manager
|
Select the manager for this enquiry.

Percentage Completion
|
Enquiry completed percentage will be displayed here.

Enquiry Status
|
Status of the enquiry is displayed here.

4.Click Save to complete creation of enquiry.
When the enquiry is saved, different properties of an enquiry are grouped under tabs.
