Numbering Template Master

 

 

 

 

You can define a number generation template by choosing the blocks and defining their relationship in this module.  Template master and Block master are used for defining the numbering template. In template master the template can be defined with the number of blocks and each block detail can be specified in Block master. Here several Blocks can be selected for a particular template number generation. This template is specifically used in a particular module. Templates can be created for the modules Transmittal, Project, MOM, Document, Correspondence, and Change Request.

Creating a Numbering Template

After creating blocks, a numbering template can be created using the selected blocks.

To create a Numbering Template,

1.On the left pane click Numbering Template Master.

2.On the tool bar click Create.

3.Click the button Blocks to select the numbering blocks.

4.Select the checkbox next to the blocks that are to be added. When a block is selected, the detail of the block is displayed on the right pane.

Viewing  Numbering Template details

It is possible to view properties of a numbering template.

To view a numbering template,

1.Select a Numbering Template and click  “Edit”. Numbering template is displayed.

2.View the details and click “OK to exit.

Removing a Numbering Template

Only numbering templates that are not assigned to any objects can be removed.

To remove a Numbering Template,

1.Select a Numbering Template and click on “REMOVE”.

2.Choose “Yes” to remove a Block.

The Numbering Template is removed successfully.
