For identifying documents added to a submittal, a submittal document type is used. Submittal document type added here will be available when documents are added to a submittal from the Document Submittal window.
To add submittal document type
1.On the Masters under the group Others click Submittal Document Type.
Submittal Document Type Masters window is displayed.
2.On the tool bar click Create.
Submittal Document Type window is displayed.

3.Enter a value for submittal document type.
4.Click OK.
A submittal document type is created and listed in the grid.
