Submittals - An Overview
Usually in engineering projects, documents created by vendors and contractors are shared with the client for approval and reviews using FTP or Emails. When number of documents handled are high and submissions are frequent, version control of documents turns out to be an enormous task.
This challenge can be overcome using the Submittals module. Submittal module with the following salient features makes sharing of drawings and documents between project stakeholder's an easy exercise.
•Send files to Wrench in batches with or without meta data.
•Assign document details to such files.
•Sending these files for review through internal approval cycles or workflows.
•Based on the review comments sending back the file for modifications.
